Katherene Garry - BANEATTA MABRY After graduating from KCKCC with a degree in performing arts, she attended NYCDA and UCB-NY to further her theatre/comedy writing career. Her love for the midwest moved her back, where she built her foundation as a sketch writer, teacher, and producer at the “The Bird Comedy Theatre”.
Becca Stabno
Becca Stabno on the keys, is the President of Summit Theatre Group and has been performing in, music directing, and accompanying community theatre productions all over the metro for 26 years. She is the accompanist at Pleasant Lea Middle School and music directs the musicals at Lee’s Summit West. She and her husband Andreas have three kids, Abbie (22), Emma (19), and Sammie (16).
Vaughan William Harrison
Vaughan William Harrison (He/Him/His) KENNY MABRY
Vaughan is both humbled and thrilled to bring the character of Kenny to life in this remarkable production of "Chicken & Biscuits." With a versatile presence in the theater world, Vaughan has left an indelible mark through his compelling portrayals in roles such as the complex Lust in "Thoughts of a Colored Man," with The Black Repertory Theater, the troubled Jim Conley in "Parade" with The Metropolitan Ensemble Theater (2016), the emotionally charged Bobbi in "Spilled Milk" at The Black Box (2022), and the heartwarming Albert Lennox in "The Secret Garden" at Music Theater Heritage (2023).
Chelsea Turner
Chelsea Turner - SIMONE MABRY - is an actress and teaching artist in the KC area. She has taught and directed youth through the Kansas Academy of Theatrical Arts, The Black Repertory Theatre, Heart of America Shakespeare, and The Learning Club. She has performed in Spilled Milk at the Fishtank Theatre, …but You Could've Held My Hand at the Unicorn, as a 2023 HeARTland Arts Fellow, and Dreamgirls at The New Theatre Restaurant. Thank you for coming out to support live, local theatre.
Paulette Dawn
Paulette Dawn BEVERLY JENKINS is excited to return to the stage. Some of her roles with Black Repertory Theater include, “The Woman,” Blues in The Night, “Aunt Em”, The Wiz, “Polk”, Gods • Sib Tale Folk Opera, “Anna,” Angry Raucous, and Shamefully Gorgeous. Paulette owes her success to God and her family.
SyKnese Fields
SyKnese Fields - LA’TRICE FRANKLIN is an actress from Wichita, Kansas. She has appeared in Akeelah & The Bee (The Coterie Theatre), Is God Is, Stew, Two Trains Running (KC Melting Pot Theatre), and many commercials. SyKnese has earned three regional Emmy Awards for her work in broadcast journalism. She obtained a BA from Wichita State University.
Levi Sanders
“Levi Sanders -LOGAN LEIBOWITZ is thrilled to be back on stage. His recent credits include directing “Almost, Maine” and playing Tim in “Noises Off” for Gaslight Theatre in Enid, OK. When he isn’t on stage, Levi spends time with family and friends or works as a therapist. He wants to thank his husband, Nathan, for his undying support and love.”

Ebonee Grace - BRIANNA JENKINS was born and raised in KCMO and earned her BA in Theatre from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She has appeared in Fairview (KCMPT), Secrets & Lies (KCMPT), Pass Over (OCTA), 2121 (KCMPT), and the stage readings of Pass Over, Flo, and The Journey (WCA). When not performing, Ebonee works on the crew for shows, with her last being the Stage Manager for Thoughts of a Colored Man (BRTKC). She also works as the Administrative Assistant for KCMPT and Just Off Broadway Theatre, which she’s held since 2017. ebonee.carrd.co
